2. How Your Data Is Stored

All your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not operate servers or cloud databases. Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect your email address, phone number, or account credentials
  • We do not track your location
  • We do not use analytics SDKs that transmit data to third-party servers
  • We do not serve advertisements
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information

4. Notifications

The app requests permission to send local push notifications to remind you to drink water. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to external notification services. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Hydrate does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app may link to external websites (such as this privacy policy or app store pages) — those sites have their own privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

Hydrate does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

  • Using the "Reset" option within the app's Settings
  • Clearing the app's data from your device settings
  • Uninstalling the app — all local data is permanently removed
