How is my daily water goal calculated?

Hydrate uses your body weight, activity level, and climate setting to calculate a personalized goal. The base formula uses approximately 33 ml per kg of body weight, adjusted for your activity and environment.

Is my data sent to any servers?

No. All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Make sure notifications are enabled for Hydrate in your device settings. Also check that your wake-up and sleep times are set correctly in the app โ€” reminders are only sent during your waking hours. On Android, ensure battery optimization is not killing the app in the background.

Can I change my daily goal manually?

Yes! Go to Settings and adjust your goal slider to set any custom target you prefer.

What beverages can I track?

Hydrate supports Water, Tea, Coffee, Juice, Milk, Smoothie, and Soup โ€” each with different hydration factors. You can also enter a custom amount.

How do I reset my data?

Open Settings and tap "Run Setup Wizard" to start fresh, or uninstall the app to remove all data permanently.

Is Hydrate free?

Yes, Hydrate is completely free with no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.

What languages are supported?

Hydrate is available in English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Chinese (Simplified), and Portuguese. The app automatically detects your device language.
